Between Le Mans and Alençon, in the Alpes Mancelles, the Camping du Sans Souci*** is located in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, 5 minutes from the town centre and its shops.

Please note that Camping du Sans Souci will close for the winter on Wednesday 30 September 2026 (rather than at the end of October), except for holiday accommodation (chalets and caravans) which remain open all year round. Camping du Sans Souci welcomes you to a lush, family-friendly setting in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, a ‘Petite Cité de Caractère’ on the banks of the River Sarthe. You can enjoy the activities on offer at the campsite, such as mini-golf, tennis and kayaking. Camping du Sans Souci is the ideal choice for a holiday close to nature in the Sarthe! Offering a complete change of scenery and a chance to connect with nature, our lodges are perfect for a unique glamping experience in the Sarthe. Just imagine: you’re enjoying a canvas-and-wood setting, an idyllic riverside location, with almost the same level of comfort as in a chalet. A kitchenette allows you to prepare your own meals in your accommodation. The added bonus of our lodges: you can stay there with your four-legged friend.
