Description
This is a 9 km yellow-marked trail, with no particular difficulties, consisting largely of dirt tracks and enjoying a half-shaded location. This trail can be linked with the Saint-Ouen-de-Mimbré trail. Possibility of starting from Fresnay-sur-Sarthe.

Due to a recent change in the management of the Étang de Carrouge, it is no longer accessible for parking.
We advise you to start the tour in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, at the entrance to the route de Piacé (near Anjou Maine Céréales). You can park there and join the route by walking a few hundred metres along the old railway line, accessible via an embankment at the level of the remaining pillar of an old railway bridge, at the entrance to the route de Piacé.
