This spacious, renovated 2-storey house sleeps up to 14 (10 very comfortably). 2 bedrooms with a double bed + a single bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed, and a bedroom with 4 bunk beds. Additional beds are available in the upstairs games room with table tennis and table soccer. Each floor has its own bathroom/WC.
The surface area of the gîte is 220 m2. The kitchen opens to the west. The main room (56 m2) includes a sitting area with fireplace, and a dining room with a 14-top table. 2 terraces, one to the south and one to the west, with garden furniture, a fishing pond and a garden for exploring and relaxing.
We aim to offer eco-gite services: the cleaning company uses only organic products, the household linen has just been changed to organic cotton, as have the basic household products. All waste is recycled, and Claude will be on hand to help you sort it.
If you wish to bring a pet, please let us know when booking. A supplement of 30 euros will be charged.
You only pay for the energy you use: meter readings are taken on arrival and departure, and charges (electricity, fuel oil and wood) are payable on site at the end of your stay.
Access is via an independent path. Outside areas include terraces, a garden, lawns around the south and west sides, a watering place for fishing and parking.
Other remarks
During school vacations, rentals are by the week.
Gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, 2 fridge-freezers, 2 TVs (1 flat-screen), wifi, fireplace.
Possibility of buying wood for the fireplace.
Fresh organic produce from nearby farms.
Numerous sporting and cultural activities await you within a 10km radius: accrobranche, horseback riding, kayaking, hiking and mountain-biking trails, hot-air ballooning, museums, historic sites, exceptional artists' villages, villages of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois and Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, Alpes Mancelles listed natural site, Alençon: home of the Martin couple and birthplace of Ste Thérèse, Sillé-le-Guillaume forest etc...
Situated at the intersection of three départements, the gîte is in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles, just 2 hours from Paris.
