Sweet house in the Alpes Mancelles.

Whether you're looking for peace and quiet, a festive get-together, the chance to cook, rummage through flea markets, hike in unspoilt countryside, taste local specialities, discover the Alpes Mancelles region with its rich history and culture, or enjoy the space inside, Le Rocher awaits you for a weekend, a week or more...

Recently restored with their own gardens and parking, we are pleased to offer you our 2 gîtes, in an old family farmhouse. They can be rented separately or together, depending on your requirements. Each gîte has its own outdoor space and private parking.

When we renovated the gîte in August 2024, we chose French-made bedding of “hotel palace” quality, and opted for antique furniture to create a warm atmosphere.
The gîte is housed in an old farmhouse 3km from the village of Moulins-le-Carbonnel. It is located on the first floor of an old restored building surrounded by green spaces: landscaped gardens, private terraces and a pond form the landscape of the property, which covers a total surface area of 4,220 m2. Other dwellings cohabit with the gîte.

This new house (sleeps 6 to 8) can be rented on its own or in conjunction with La Bergerie (sleeps 10 to 14). If you're having family parties, or parties with friends, it's the ideal place to get together with plenty of space.
Access by staircase to the 1st level of the gîte: large independent living room with sofa bed, TV. Bathroom with washbasin and Italian shower, WC. Large fully-equipped kitchen and dining area with fireplace. Staircase to 2nd level with 3 bedrooms. Each room is equipped with 2 beds 80 that can be twinned into a bed 160. 1 bathroom with washbasin, shower and 1 WC. Mezzanine with sofa that can be used as a single bed. Separate WC. Access to the gîte via a private path and private outdoor area with garden furniture and barbecue. Beds made up on arrival, towels and heating included.
Everything is designed to make you feel like you're in a cosy cocoon: there's plenty of common space, and you can also get away from it all to enjoy a moment of independence with your favorite book! We look forward to welcoming you!
