Description
An outing organised by ABC Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles in partnership with the Alpes Mancelles Tourist Office, Mémoire et Patrimoine de Sougé-le-Ganelon and the local council.
On Saturday 19 September, to mark European Heritage Days, the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park & Geopark, as part of its ABC Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles initiative and in partnership with the Alpes Mancelles Tourist Office, Mémoire et Patrimoine de Sougé-le-Ganelon and the local council, is offering a guided tour entitled ‘The Heritage of Sougé-le-Ganelon’!
Whilst often associated with culture, monuments and buildings, the concept of heritage can also encompass nature and ecology. As part of the European Heritage Days and the ABC Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles initiative, come and discover the heritage of Sougé-le-Ganelon accompanied by a guide from the Alpes Mancelles Tourist Office and a representative from the Normandy-Maine Park and Geopark. This is an opportunity to see or rediscover the unique features of the town centre, as well as the biodiversity surrounding it, which is often linked to past or present human activity (so-called anthropophilic species).
Two sessions: 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm at Place de l’Église in Sougé-le-Ganelon.
Free event. Booking essential as places are limited: call 02 43 33 28 04 or 02 43 33 03 03.
