The Moulin de l'Orière in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe pays tribute to John Coltrane!

On 9 May, starting at 8pm, the Moulin de l'Orière will be hosting an evening dedicated to the centenary of the birth of John Coltrane, a major figure in jazz. This tribute invites the public to experience a timeless moment, combining music and an immersive atmosphere. The programme includes a concert by the Aacha Quartet, a group whose musical universe is rooted in the legacy of the American saxophonist, combining modernity with sonic exploration. This journey will be accompanied by a visit to the mill by candlelight, offering the public an original discovery of the site in an intimate atmosphere. Through this evening, the organisers hope to pay tribute to an artist whose influence extends far beyond jazz, and to offer an original and innovative cultural experience.
