European Heritage Days in Piacé le Radieux! - Guided tour / walk – Saturday 19 September at 3.00 pm Bézard - Le Corbusier exhibition / Extension of the Bézard – Le Corbusier space, staged using the BLOC brick by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, / Wicker structure, Le Corbusier’s ‘Minimum Car’ reinterpreted by designer Christian Ragot / Presentation of micro-architectures and architectural elements from the contemporary art, architecture and design trail: Bulles Six Coques, Penta, Tétrodon, Claude Parent’s house, the Bouroullec Pavilion, etc., as well as works (sculptures, installations) by contemporary artists. Admission: €10 / free for members. Bookings on 02 43 33 47 97 or via the contact form. - Espace Bézard-Le Corbusier – Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September from 2.30 pm to 6 pm – free entry Opening of the Bézard–Le Corbusier exhibition space, dedicated to the rural development project conceived by the two men in the 1930s: ‘The Radiant Farm and the Cooperative Village’. Plans, models, archive documents and more trace the history of this utopian project. The centre also showcases the artistic work of Norbert Bézard (ceramics, drawings, paintings). Part of the ‘Le Corbusier Destinations: Architectural Walks’ itinerary, certified as a ‘Council of Europe Cultural Route’ in 2019 and comprising 21 towns, 6 countries and 24 architectural sites designed by Le Corbusier. - Contemporary art, architecture and design trail – self-guided tour on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September Explore the ‘Piacé le radieux’ trail at your own pace. All sites, including private ones, will be open, offering 60 works (micro-architectures, sculptures, installations, etc.) to discover in the village and the surrounding countryside.
