The Rencontres de Saint-Céneri return from 23 to 25 May 2026 (Pentecost).
After two complicated years, the Rencontres de Saint Céneri organised by the Association des Amis de Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei
and the surrounding area will take place over the three days of the Whitsun weekend. The village opens its doors to around thirty artists from all over the world, transforming itself into a veritable open-air art gallery for art lovers and walkers alike. Visitors can stroll through the narrow streets of one of France's most beautiful villages on the banks of the Sarthe and admire the various exhibition studios.

DALBE workshop for children
Les Rencontres de Saint-Céneri is offering a creative workshop for children. The workshop will be run by visual arts professionals (teachers, schoolteachers, artists) in partnership with the Alençon Art Centre. Children will be able to practise and discover gouache, coloured pencil, felt-tip pens, stencils, linocuts, etc. (with parents present for children under 6). You can pick up your work as soon as it dries. The workshop will be held in the Salle du Pont, on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm and on Monday from 2pm to 5pm.
Admission to the event is free. Organised by Les Amis de Saint-Céneri.
