Description
Activities for youngsters in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe!
On Tuesday 4 August, meet at 10.30 am at the Espace culturel Coféa, 3 Rue Saint-Sauveur, Fresnay-sur-Sarthe for an activity entitled "Les poupées Philippart" (for children aged 6 and over)! Discover the Philippart dolls and design your own doll according to your imagination! Created in 1942 at the Moulin de la Coursure in Fresnay, the dolls were made by the Philippart family from natural materials and dressed in costumes inspired by 18th and 19th century fashions. Most of them come to life by dancing under a globe to amaze young and old alike. Alongside Caroline Lepelley-Philippart, explore this exceptional craft and then find out how to create and personalise your own doll as a family (materials provided).
Registration strongly advised on 07 56 43 06 34. Free admission.
