Art centre dedicated to architecture, design and contemporary art.
A place for reflection and research into the region and local heritage, it is also a venue for the dissemination and promotion of contemporary creative work. It is located in Piacé (between Le Mans and Alençon), a small village in the Sarthe region that was the subject of an architectural project by Le Corbusier (1887-1965) and Norbert Bézard (1896-1956) in the 1930s. Espace Bézard - Le Corbusier: "La Ferme radieuse et le village coopératif" exhibition - Saturday & Sunday 2.30pm-6pm during temporary exhibitions - By appointment from April to October - Closed from November to March Admission : Full 5 € / Reduced 3 € / Members Free Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Temporary exhibitions : - Saturdays and Sundays 2.30pm-6pm and by appointment during the week. Contemporary art trail : - Free admission all year round (excluding private areas open only during temporary exhibitions) Guided tour of the site - April to October by appointment / Groups only: minimum 10 people / maximum 25 people 7 per person
