At the Camille Bardou multimedia library
For the second year running, the Camille Bardou multimedia library is delighted to be taking part in the Nuits de la Lecture (Reading Nights), opening its doors to the public for this cultural event that has become a must. To mark the occasion, a rich and varied programme has been specially devised around the theme of "Towns and Countryside", inviting young and old alike to explore these worlds through a book signing, a cartography workshop and a theatrical performance/reading.
- 10am-12.30pm: Book signing by Damien Deville at the Carnets du grand chemin bookshop. Damien Deville is a geographer specialising in environmental approaches, and the author of La France des milles lieux and Le Faiseur de Nuages.
- 2pm: Workshop with Damien Deville at the Camille Bardou multimedia library for children aged 8 and over (1h30). Discover cartography: how do you create modern maps? Bookings recommended on 02 43 33 35 41.
- 6.30pm: Performance/theatrical readings by La B.I.L.E from the Bande de Sauvages company, at the Camille Bardou multimedia library, for all ages (1h15). The gentlemen of the Brigade d'Intervention Littéraire Équilatérale are ready to declaim vibrant texts borrowed from classic and contemporary works!
All events are free of charge.
