This is the 19th exhibition organised by the Association des Amis du Manoir de Couesme since 2007. The works on display are paintings by Patrick Bouleau and iron sculptures by Pascal Chesneau.
Patrick Bouleau, a school teacher and art point coordinator in the northern Sarthe region, lives and works in Saint Ceneri. Painter
He is a self-taught painter, using acrylics and knives as his means of expression. On his canvases, colours, bottles and human forms are born of his imagination.
Pascal Chesneau, a native of Brittany, works with animals and seeks movement in his sculptures. Using formed and welded sheet metal as his preferred material, he brings his pieces to life in his workshop in the Alpes Mancelles region of France. His bestiary of all species and breeds will populate the garden at Couesme.
Open daily from 10am to 6pm from Saturday 6 to Sunday 28 September. Free admission.
