On Saturday 11 October, the Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park & Geopark, as part of its ABC Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles, invites you on a walk "Discovering the bocage" in Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier!
Come and take part in an event dedicated to hedgerows and their benefits for biodiversity. Come and discover this key feature of the rural landscape, often seen as a haven for birds, mammals and other insects. With the help of an experienced guide, you'll learn to recognise the different plants that make up hedges and understand their vital role in our landscapes (ecological corridors, combating erosion, improving water quality, etc.). During this activity, you will explore the different faces of the hedge.
2pm, Place de l'Église, Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier.
Free event. Booking essential on 02 33 81 13 33.
