Exhibition of terracotta sculptures by Fanny Ferré at the Domaine du Gasseau!
Fanny Ferré is a French sculptor. Trained at the Beaux-Arts, for many years she has been developing a body of work deeply linked to clay and the human figure. Her terracotta sculptures, often grouped into families or tribes, evoke movement, connection and the human condition with force and poetry. Using a living, expressive material, Fanny Ferré fashions timeless figures imbued with humanity and sensitivity.

Fanny Ferré's artistic career
Fanny Ferré, born in 1963, has been developing her sculptural work since the 1980s.
of the human being. Trained at the Beaux-Arts, she soon turned to clay, a material she explores with singular sensitivity. Her first exhibitions already revealed her taste for slender silhouettes, suspended attitudes and figures that seem to be inhabited by an inner story. Over the decades, her world has taken shape, with figures that are often solitary, sometimes in groups, but always imbued with emotion and restraint. She exhibits regularly in France and abroad, and her work is included in many public and private collections. Her career has been marked by a fidelity to the earth, to the fragility of gesture and to a form of silent poetry that runs through all her work. Today, Fanny Ferré is recognised as one of the leading voices in contemporary clay sculpture, pursuing a body of work that is coherent, sensitive and profoundly human.

On view from Tuesday to Sunday in the large exhibition room at the Domaine du Gasseau.
