la Vélobuissonnière

in the Alpes Mancelles
A 250 km nature getaway in the heart of Sarthe department

La Vélobuissonnière (formerly Sarthe à vélo V44) is a 250-kilometer cycling route linking the Véloscénie and the Loire à Vélo, which allows you to discover the department’s north-south axis, with the following sections: Alençon – Beaumont-sur-Sarthe – Le Mans – Noyen-sur-Sarthe – La Flèche.

Pedal and take your time,

it's even better!

When you take the Vélobuissonnière, you’ll go from surprise to surprise, from discovery to discovery!

In fact, as you cross the Sarthe department, you’ll be surprised by its varied landscapes: sometimes forests, riversides, plains and mountains, and you’ll discover preserved territories, well-known and lesser-known, towns and villages with great charms.

The Alpes Mancelles will be one of those little treasures you don’t expect. This territory you’ll cross for almost 70 km, between Alençon and Beaumont-sur-Sarthe, it will offer at times a landscape of small mountains, bocage, plain … You’ll be free in the middle of the countryside and then at the bend of a curve or in the hollow of a valley, you’ll fall under the charm of the villages: an old-fashioned store front, a wash house, a church, a bridge …

Everything will make you want to stop and take the time to appreciate.
